Hey there!

My name is Colin and I’m an entrepreneur. Well, not technically… my partner (Joe) and I have been buying and running businesses since 2018; so really we’re building off the work of others. We bought our first company with $75k down and snowballed to 150+ employees and nearly $30m revenue as of this writing in August 2025.

Like other business owners, we didn’t know how to do our bookkeeping. So in the early days, we would look at the money coming in and out of our bank account, summarize it in a few categories, and review it together each week. This is where we built and refined our cash flow forecast.

It sounds simple (and it is), but it had such a profound impact on our ability to plan ahead. It ultimately led us to take a salary from the business and later on, recurring distributions. We’re still using these cash flow worksheets today (even after we figured out our books) and want to share this tool with you.
