Meet Colin: Seasoned Entrepreneur Joins Profit Mastery Team
Profit Mastery is excited to announce that Colin King, CPA, CFA has joined as President of Profit Mastery beginning October 2023. He will play a pivotal role in management, growth, and content development.
A message from Colin:
Thanks for reading. This is an exciting time and the start of more good things to come. I’m an accountant turned investor turned entrepreneur. As a long-time business owner, I’ve been in your shoes and learned many lessons along the way. My goal is to build on the Profit Mastery program developed by Steve LeFever to help business owners and those who serve them.
A bit about me...
Started my career as a CPA at a Big 4 accounting firm (robust knowledge of financial statements)
Obtained my CFA Charter and became an analyst at a $500m investment company studying and investing in great publicly-traded businesses
Served as CFO at a Private Equity firm assisting with acquisitions (6 during my tenure) and financial operations
With that foundation, I became an SMB Entrepreneur (and de facto CFO) through 15 business acquisitions over an 8 year period (this led me to Steve and ultimately drove our partnership)
